a new home…

Welcome to the NEW home of Granite Idealism!

It’s here that you’ll find my thoughts on service, music, and politics… sometimes together and other times separate.  This blog is envisioned to be a place where we can exchange ideas, share joy, and celebrate the best of what life has to offer – even in the face of its many challenges.   I hope that you’ll check back often and add your two cents when you feel so moved.

The Granite State – and specifically Manchester, NH - is an exciting place to work, play, and serve right now.  I work out of a space that can only be described as a ”factory of idealism;” a place where dreams are dreamt and then made to come true.  I share workspace with a company that designs and manufactures clothing, a youth service corps, a charitable foundation, a startup music non-profit, and a political action organization.  Here, there is never a dull moment and never a clear sense of what’s most important - commerce or justice.  Here, our humanity is truly tied to each other.

What will be shared here are the real-life adventures of a 25-year old rugged idealist in New Hampshire who is out to make connections, make a difference, and make the most out of life’s unique opportunities that continue to present themself.  Welcome to 300 Bedford Street.  Welcome to my new home for Granite Idealism.
